Can parents lock the mode to control the speed? Would like to keep it at mode 1 16mph and not allow 35mph.
Thank you for your question. The ARC 3000W does not have a parental lock or a permanent mode-locking feature. Once the bike is powered on, the rider can manually switch between speed modes, including Mode 1 (16 mph) and higher-speed modes (up to 35 mph). We understand the safety concern, but currently the bike is designed to allow the rider to select the mode freely each time. If this is an important feature for you, we recommend considering other models or keeping the bike under direct adult supervision.
